However, you will want to purchase an extension cord made of higher-quality copper rather than the cheaper aluminum products. Your safety is #1 for us, so please ensure you purchase a safety-certified extension cord with a thick enough wire gauge that meets your outlet dimensions, and you should be all good to go. Wire Gauge: For 100ft, we suggest a 6AWG (8AWG minimum) extension cord if you plan on charging at full 40A (NEMA 14-50 or NEMA 6-50) of power.
