What we officially recommend to our users is that you have an electrician come out and run a non-flexible conduit through the wall that terminates near your Smart Splitter and charger for easy plug-in on both ends. This solution will satisfy all NEC guidelines for passing wiring through the wall and also allow for the Smart Splitter to be utilized as an end-user installable product.
