If your utility provider or your rate is not automatically found for your location, you may need to enter a custom rate plan.
Time of Use rate plans can be customized on the app for:
- Seasonal differences (if you have a different summer vs winter plan)
- Daily differences (weekday vs weekend rates)
- Hourly peak pricing (on-peak, mid-peak, and off-peak times)
The rate plan can be customized down to 4 decimal places ($X.XXXX / kWh) to support those who have very specific rate costs.
The Smart Charging algorithm will use these manual rates for charging times and to calculate the exact cost of each session.
