Quick Start Guide - PDF Version
What's Included:
- Smart Splitter (1x)
- Mounting Bracket (1x)

Important Pre-Installation Notes:
- Always ensure the circuit breaker is OFF before installation
- Maximum amperage of each EV/device must be less than or equal to 80% of the breaker rating (Example: 40A on 50A circuit)
How It Works:
- The Primary outlet is always active
- The Smart Splitter monitors total power draw
- Automatic shut-off of Secondary outlet when Switching Limit* (calculated by adding PRI + SEC side loads) is exceeded
- Resumes power to Secondary when Primary stops drawing power

Installation Steps:
- Turn Breaker OFF
- Locate and turn off the circuit breaker controlling your 240V outlet
- Install Mounting Bracket (Optional)
- Remove existing faceplate screws
- Align mounting bracket with outlet
- Secure using provided bracket screws
- Ensure bracket slots align with gold mounting points on Smart Splitter
- Plug In Smart Splitter
- Insert Smart Splitter into outlet
- Secure Smart Splitter (Optional)
- Use either thumb screws or panhead screws to secure to mounting bracket
- Plug In Devices For Appliance x EV setup:
- Plug appliance into primary ("PRI") outlet
- Plug EV charger into secondary ("SEC") outlet
For Dual EV setup:
- Plug priority EV charger into primary ("PRI") outlet
- Plug secondary EV charger into secondary ("SEC") outlet
- Turn Breaker ON
- Configure Devices In App
- Download and open the NeoCharge app
- Create an account
- Follow in-app instructions to connect Smart Splitter to Wi-Fi
- Confirm your circuit breaker to set correct switching limits (required)
- Configure your devices to complete setup
8. Integrate Your Charging And Utility
- Set your home locations to enable automatic charging schedules
- Verify your utility and rate plan (Time-of-Use, etc.)
- Set your preferred charging hours
- Enable automatic scheduling for optimal energy bill savings
