The steady color shows the monitor&apos;s health, and a short blink on top adds extra information. Slow fades are normal. Fast, repeating flashes indicate a fault.Normal Operation:<ul><li>WHITE / GREEN pulse: All good. Online and reporting every 30 seconds.</li><li>PURPLE, BLUE blink: Ready for setup. The monitor isn&apos;t configured yet and Bluetooth is open.</li><li>PURPLE, no blink: Bluetooth is closed. Press the button once to reopen it.</li><li>WHITE / PURPLE blink: Firmware updating. To do that, it needs live readings from the Energy Monitor and a working connection to the charger. When either is missing, the EMS protects your panel first.What Happens During an Interruption:<ul><li>Internet or Wi-Fi drops, or the Energy Monitor goes offline: the EMS can&apos;t verify available capacity, so charging pauses after a short safety timeout. The NeoCharge platform uses the monitor&apos;s live readings to set the charger&apos;s current limit in real time, so your home&apos;s total load stays within your panel&apos;s rating.How does it avoid a panel upgrade?Without load management, adding an EV charger often means upgrading your panel or electrical service, which can cost thousands of dollars. While charging is ramping up, one number can briefly run ahead of the other. They line up again within a few seconds.Will the Energy Monitor&apos;s readings match my utility meter?Closely, but not exactly. The Energy Monitor takes real measurements of the current and voltage on your service mains. It isn&apos;t guessing. Your utility meter is a separate device, measuring at a different point, with its own calibration and billing rules. Small differences are normal and can go either way: the app may show slightly more or slightly less than your utility reports. Common reasons:<ul><li>Measurement tolerance: the Energy Monitor&apos;s current sensors are rated to &#xB1;2%. Utility revenue meters are certified to a tighter revenue-grade standard. Two accurate instruments with different tolerances will rarely read identically.</li><li>Different measurement points: the utility meter measures where power enters your home.
